Size overview

The right size is the basis of comfort. If you are not sure, feel free to write to me - I will be happy to advise you, and for custom-made jewelry, we will fine-tune everything together before production.

Ring size

How to find out your ring size at home

Option A: measure a ring that fits you (recommended)

  1. Take the ring you wear on the same finger.

  2. Measure the inner diameter (not the outer) in millimeters.

  3. Please refer to the table below to find the appropriate size.

Option B: measure your finger (circumference) with a piece of paper/string

  1. Wrap a piece of paper or string around your finger where the ring normally fits.

  2. Mark the overlap point and measure the length in millimeters.

  3. In the EU/CZ the following applies: ring size = circumference in mm (e.g. 54 mm = size 54).

Important tips for getting the right size

  • Ideally, measure in the evening (fingers tend to be swollen during the day).

  • Do not tighten the paper too much – the ring must pass comfortably over the joint.

  • For wider rings (approx. 4 mm and more), I often recommend choosing 0.5–1 size larger .

Recommendation: Ring Sizer app

If you want a quick and accurate measurement, I recommend using the Ring Sizer app (on iOS / Android). It allows you to easily compare the size to a ring you already have, or to measure the diameter in millimeters as a guide. For best results, measure with a ring that fits the same finger.

Tip: If you are not sure between two sizes, write to me - I will be happy to advise based on the type of ring and the width of the band.

If you are "between" two sizes, generally choose the larger one - especially for rings that are wider or have a more pronounced profile.

Bracelet size

The bracelet can fit snugly , comfortably , or loosely – it's mainly a matter of preference.
The quickest way is to measure your wrist circumference and add a margin.

How to measure your wrist

  1. Wrap a piece of paper/tape measure around your wrist where you will wear the bracelet.

  2. Measure the circumference in cm.

  3. Add a margin according to your wearing style:

  • Tight fit: +0.5 to +1.0 cm

  • Comfort fit (recommended): +1.0 to +1.5 cm

  • Loose fit: +1.5 to +2.0 cm

Example: wrist circumference 15.5 cm
→ comfortable bracelet approx. 16.5–17.0 cm

For solid bracelets (bangle) or distinctive pieces, the size can be decided individually - write to me and I will advise you.

Chain and necklace lengths

The length of the necklace affects where the jewelry “fits” on the body. Below are approximate lengths:

  • 38–40 cm: close to the neck (choker)

  • 42–45 cm: classic collarbone length (most universal)

  • 50 cm: slightly lower, below the collarbone

  • 55–60 cm: significantly lower, elegant layering

  • 70+ cm: long chain (often over the head)

How to choose the right length

  • Take the string and try it on your neck at the desired length.

  • If you plan on layering, a combination of e.g. 40 + 45 + 50/55 cm works beautifully.

  • For a pendant, a length of 42–45 cm may work best, but it depends on the shape of the pendant and the neckline.

Stone sizes: mm, ct and what it means

For diamonds and gemstones, it is often stated:

  • dimension in mm (e.g. 4.0 mm)

  • weight in carats (ct) (e.g. 0.25 ct)

Quick reference for round diamond

The values are approximate - the weight is also affected by the height of the stone and the specific cut.

  • 3.0 mm0.10 ct

  • 3.5 mm0.15–0.17 ct

  • 4.0 mm0.25 ct

  • 4.2 mm0.28–0.30 ct

  • 4.5 mm0.35 ct

  • 5.0 mm0.50 ct

If you are choosing a custom stone, I will be happy to send you options based on your preferred size, budget, and appearance (natural/lab-grown, color, quality).

Custom manufacturing and size adjustment

For custom jewelry, always before production:

  • We will confirm the size together.

  • we will agree on the fit (tight / comfortable / loose)

  • and for the stones we will choose the ideal combination of size, color and character

If you are not sure, write to me - just send:

  • for a ring: size or diameter of the ring in mm

  • for bracelet: wrist circumference in cm + fit preference

  • for a necklace: the desired length in cm (or a photo of where you want to place it on your body)
