"Why jewelry?"
I hear this question quite often. And I have to admit – the answer is not entirely simple. Well, it is not simple in one sentence. But I will try to tell you how I feel about it.
My path to jewelry was not a straight one. It did not begin in my childhood in my grandfather's workshop, but in the world of photography. I enjoyed creating, experimenting, and searching for forms of expression. But I was still missing something – contact with the material. And so one day I discovered designer jewelry .
Jewelry with a story
I believe that every handmade piece of jewelry carries much more than just aesthetics. It is an object that accompanies us - sometimes for years, sometimes for a lifetime. It is a silent witness to our stories.
And that's why I'm fascinated by creating jewelry with a soul , that people choose not just by appearance, but by feeling. I put who I am into the jewelry, every thought and emotion is written into it like an invisible code.
I consciously create jewelry with a story . Every ring, necklace or pendant carries a certain message. Sometimes it symbolizes a new beginning, sometimes protection, connection, memory. That's the beauty of designer jewelry - it speaks without words.
Handmade jewelry as a form of meditation
Working with gold or silver is an intimate process for me. I love the moment when raw metal is transformed into shape. When detail by detail something is created that will have deep meaning.
It's a quiet concentration that reminds me of meditation. And every time I hold a new piece of designer jewelry in my hand, I feel humbled.
Why I don't make classic jewelry
I don't want to create jewelry that fits. I believe in the power of individuality – both in a person and an object.
That's why I work with asymmetry , organic shapes and materials that have character. My jewelry is original , sometimes slightly avant-garde , but always personal.
My goal is not to please everyone. I want to be found by those who truly appreciate my work.
Czech jewelry with international reach
I believe that Czech designer jewelry has something to say. It has its own tradition, it has depth, it has originality. And it is increasingly perceived in the world as something exceptional – a combination of precise craftsmanship and a strong artistic identity.
I'm proud to be a part of this scene. :)
I see the future in authenticity and personal approach. And when someone wears my ring, say in Tokyo, I know that what I create has meaning.
I make jewelry because it makes sense to me.
I create because I have no other choice. Every new piece of jewelry is a challenge, a conversation, a process that teaches me. Creation is as natural to me as breathing. Each piece of jewelry is like a dialogue – with myself, with the material, and with the person who will wear it one day.
And if what I create helps someone feel stronger, more beautiful, or more like themselves, then that makes sense.
And that's why I make jewelry.
Not as decorations, but as companions. Silently present, close to your body – and even closer to your soul.
